A STAND-UP SHOW BY NATALY AUKAR

Marriage, hormones and chronic illness. All included in the package.

She just got married. She’s about to record her first special. And she has a lot of stories to tell.

Nataly Aukar is back on the road with a brand new hour of stand-up about marriage, hormones, chronic illnesses and all the entanglements in between. Because «till death do us part» sounds very romantic until you remember it also covers your body.

Lebanese born and raised and now based in New York City, Nataly started out as a writer at a production house in Beirut while studying at the American University of Beirut. The day she graduated, she moved to New York to pursue stand-up. Since then, she has turned her past and present lives, her family, her fears and her flaws into honest, personal and disarming comedy.

Her mom says she’s really pretty when she makes an effort. Her friends say she’s great once you get to know her. We say: see for yourself.

She has performed across the country and around the world, opening for Nimesh Patel, Ramy Youssef, Hasan Minhaj, Gad Elmaleh and Mo Amer. She has appeared in the Netflix Is a Joke Festival (2022), on Don’t Tell Comedy, and in outlets like TimeOut NY and Esquire Middle East. She also starred in the short film Sofa So Good, featured in The New Yorker.

This show is about what we carry, what we can’t choose, and what we choose to love anyway. Expect to laugh, to recognise yourself, and probably to text someone afterwards saying «this is you.»

Now stopping in Barcelona on June 9th (2027) at Eixample Teatre. Don’t miss out!

Some things have no cure, but they do make a great hour of stand-up.

Matrimoni, hormones i malalties cròniques.

També va protagonitzar el curt Sofa So Good, destacat a The New Yorker.
